Hace unos días tuve el placer de conocer a profesional de la publicidad como pocos: Rafael Guerra. Un tipo alto y simpático que dirige la agencia "Símbolo Creativo"


A few days ago, I was introduced to a singular Advertiser: Rafael Guerra. A tall and nice man who leads the Advertising Agence "Símbolo Creativo" (creative symbol)


Il fa des jours que, avec plaiser, j'ai connu un singulier profesionell du publicité: Rafael Gerra. Un homme trés grand et sympa qui dirige l'agence de Publicité "Simbolo Creativo" (symbol creatif)

Además de eso, me regaló un libro de cómic editado por Edicions de Ponent y publicitado por Símbolo Creativo que disfruté mucho: "...de ellas" . Un retrato de la mujer hecho por mujeres sin caer en el acostumbrado victimismo de estas publicaciones. En él podréis apreciar el trabajo de grandes pofesionales como: Asunción Balzola, María Alcobre, Victoria Martos, Laura Pérez, Gabriella Giandelli, Marta Guerrero, Mª Antonia Santolaya, Cintia Bolio, Raquel Alzate, Maria Delia Lozupone, Nicole Schulman y Mª Isabel Carvalho. Además de la portada de la archiconocida Ana Juan.

He also gave me a comic-book I enjoy a lot wich has been edited by Edicións de Ponent and spread by "Símbolo Creativo": "... de ellas". A portrait of women made by women, but mentally-victim-free. Il m'a doné un Bande Dessinée qui s'appelle "... De ellas" edité par Edicions de Ponent et avec la publicité de "Simbolo Creativo". Tiene muchas, pero tiene una en concreto en su cabeza que no es como todas las demás...  Por supuesto, solo podía ser de color petunia ^_^

Últimamente me apetece probar nuevos registros, estilos, etc. y no cerrarme a lo meramente figurativo.

Elle a beaucoup d'elles, mais elle a une dans cette tête qui n'est pas comme les autres... Évidement, elle seulement peuvait être couleur pétunia ^_^

Recemment, j'ai decidé experimenter avec nouveaux codes et styles, etc. et n'être pas renfermé et faire seulement dessins trés figuratifs.

ZOMBIES A GOGO

Recientemente he sido uno de los ganadores del Concurso "ZOMBIES A GOGO" de la Revista On-line PELOTÓN 69 y la tienda KOOMIC . Me decanté, para variar, por hacer un chistecillo. Así soy yo, no intentes  cambiarme, muñeca.

Today I received this new: I've won the Contest "ZOMBIES A GOGO" from the On-line Magazine PELOTON 69 and the comic on-line store KOOMIC. I decided to make a graphic joke. That's the way I am, don't try to change me baby!

Récemment, j'ai gagné le concours "ZOMBIES A GOGO" de la Magazine On-line PELOTON 69 et le magasine de Bandes Dessinéés On-line KOOMIC. J'ai decidé faire une blague, comme d'habitude. Ainsi est comme je suis, ne essaie pas de me changer, fille à papa!

DESDE QUE AMANECE APETECE

Y no me refiero a las tiernas pechugas de la susodicha (que no sería moco de pavo, tú)... sino que, a veces, después de muchos meses utilizando un estilo tan... detallado... estudiado... RELAMIDO... apetece volver a hacer algo más sencillito (en apariencia)... comprobando que te sale mejor que antes y... ¿Por qué no? probar otros estilos tomando pequeños aspectos de otros autores que te resulta atractivos (como Arthur de Pins, cartas sobre la mesa) ^_^

SINCE DAWN STARTS TO BREAK, IT FEELS LIKE

And I'm not talking about the above-mentioned sweetie (although it wouldn't be a bad idea)... but, sometimes, after many months without using a too much... detailed... planned... HOITY-TOITY... style, it feels like go back to a(n) (apparently) more simple stuff... and at the same time you check it works better than before and... ¿why not? test other styles just picking some aspects of other authors that seem atractive to yourself (like Arthur de Pins, cards layin' on the table) ^_^

8 HORAS COMIC DAY (como si no hubiera ya chistes sobre la crisis)

Una serie de chistes gráficos que hice para la 8 horas Comic Day a la que me invitó el excelente dibujante y mejor humorista Paco Sordo, autor, entre otros, de "Internet" (serie nueva de la revista El Jueves) y del webcomic y serie de dibujos "Dame Algo".

Fue un gustazo participar y ver los otros comics que hacía otros autores, aunque no me dio tiempo a hacer las 8 páginas... debido a que, a mitad de proyecto, decidí que contaría otra historia :)

A series of jokes I made for 8hourscomicday. Event I was invited to participate in by the great cartoonist and better comediant Paco Sordo: author of "Internet" (series you can find in El Jueves Magazine) and his webcomic and cartoon series "Dame algo" (gimme somethin').

It was fun to participate and see the comics others authors did, although I couldn't finish in time those eight pages due to I decided, in the middle of the conception of the first story I was writing, to change the project :)
